Karolina Jakóbczak, for friends – Kari.
Born in Poland, in 1984. She does not hear from birth, first got hearing aids when she was 1.5 years.
Graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Master degree in 2009 from the faculty Industrial Design, specialization Communication Design) and Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology in Warsaw (Master degree in 2011 from the faculty New Media Art, specialization Classic Animation), also studied on Erasmus in Germany in Fachhochschule Trier – Communicationdesign 2006/2007.
Now she is graphic designer and handles everything which is connected with art flat dimension, including: illustration, computer graphics, graphic arts, photography, painting and drawing. Her works: painting, photography, and graphic arts were different collective and individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
In free time travels wherever she can and photographs.
What is art and photography for her?
It is the method of communication between her world and the outside world. On the photographs, paintings, drawings she is trying to capture, retain permanently visions of what she sees every day. There is also the possibility of transferring to paper, materials, blocks, pixels everyday emotions and experiences.
